Estimating

Utilize the services of our veteran team to properly cost out your job for the various products and services we provide.  Each member of our staff has a minimum of 20 years of experience in their field of expertise and is well-trained regarding new products, practices, and techniques.  This is a free service that is provided for our customers to help them in many ways, including setting budgets for design-build projects, determining the viability of certain product lines, protecting themselves against being over-budget, and enhancing how smoothly their job moves along.

Price protection and Job-site service

The service does not end with the estimate.  Once a job is awarded to Wayne Lumber is when the best service occurs.  The materials for the job are pre-arranged in order to accomplish two things: all pricing is then “locked in” to safeguard against the volatility of the lumber market, and this ensures the materials are in our inventory as the project begins.  Our sales staff is on the job on a regular, if not daily, basis.  They work with the carpenters or homeowner to verify materials are being used in the manner they were intended, where they were intended to be used, and to schedule the necessary deliveries as required.  They also help to inventory materials on-site to minimize possible theft and keep a cleaner job site.

 Millwork

Toledo’s finest mill is in-house here at Wayne Lumber.  Our mill men have completed thousands of jobs over the years ranging from circular stairways to cutting a board to length for a customer.  They are used by builders working on a higher price-point home to help accentuate focal points of their home.  Commercial contractors have utilized them in fabricating custom door frames, ripping quantities of blocking in a controlled environment, matching custom trims and mouldings, or building unique window frames for schools and churches.  Individuals have gone to their imagination and had our mill create their thoughts.  Customers have fun with the mill because they know our staff will create exactly what they want in a professional, economical and dependable way.

Delivery and Direct shipment

Our fleet of trucks is known for their timely deliveries.  The material is where you want it and when you want it.  This is a complimentary service up to a 20-mile radius, depending on the type of project you have.  Wayne Lumber has arranged for direct shipment to many projects over the years, including Innisbrook in Florida, Tamaron in Colorado, Granite City restaurants, Ruby Tuesday restaurants, Bob Evans, Long John Silver, many apartment complexes, retirement centers, funeral homes, and condominium developments.

Installation

Wayne Lumber provides an installation service to simplify accountability and liability for our customers.  We simply network with our best carpenter crews and build their pricing and talents directly into our estimate.  We have known countless fantastic framers and finish carpenters over the years and have developed wonderful working relationships based on integrity, quality, and trust.
